I personally love to create fresh visual content for brands that care about the process and final product. I find it rewarding to produce strong visuals that companies can trust and use to market their products correctly. As such, the partnership with the Sagamore brand has been unparalleled! This past weekend, they invited me to the Preakness Stakes and showed Jamie and I an amazing time.
If you watched my Instagram story this past Saturday, you already saw part of our @SagamoreSpirit experience at the race. Our passes included access to the Preakness Village. Within the turf area we could access open bars, delicious food, vendors and incredible views of the track. We truly couldn't have asked for more. Our tent was located track side, where we could see the starting line for the earlier races and sit comfortably by the bar.
After mingling in our tent, we wanted to explore what else the village had to offer. While walking around the venue, we found other amenities like the Hats in the Belfry tent, the Sagamore open bar, BMW and Tesla electric cars on display, lounge chairs, and sponsor tents. We were even able go inside the exclusive Under Armour tent! Having a direct view of the finish line, live music, freshly rolled cigars, food and drinks was definitely amazing. Not to mention walking among football stars, coaches and industry giants.
We wandered around the village a bit more and made our way back to our table to see the final race of the day. On the way back, we stopped again at the Sagamore Spirit tent for a few more refreshments. The bar featured two drinks made with their delicious rye whiskey: the Black-Eyed Rye and the Maryland Mule. Check out the recipe in the image gallery at the bottom of this page.
We are so appreciative to have been able to enjoy the race for the first time and in the best way humanly possible. Being so close to the track and having access to all the amenities made this an unforgettable experience. Thank you again to Sagamore Spirit for being such great hosts!
